Pakistan's PM: Our economic future is now linked to China | Talk to Al Jazeera

Imran Khan was sworn into office as Pakistan’s 22nd prime minister in August 2018.

The cricketer-turned-politician promised justice for all and a corruption-free country.

So, two years on, how is the fight against corruption going? How is he coping with the geopolitical changes? Has he turned the economy around? What about human rights and media freedom? And how is he managing Pakistan’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic?

These are some of the questions we put forward as Prime Minister Imran Khan talks to Al Jazeera.

  3. My sincere observation is people of Pakistan are impatient. They're living and looting by dishonest politicians decades after decades. I think they became used to with corruption than adjust to stay with a decent leader like Imran Khan. They want things will be changed in a day like a magic unfortunately. I feel pain for this peoples in Pakistan.

  4. Imran Khan is yet another modern day tyrant. A typical hypocrite. Another face of deception. The worst so far, not only in the aspects of economy only, but also for cultural, social, political, law and order, technological, educational and even basic health facilities, all those dimensions of a society, have tremendously deteriorated. What is this guy in fact this dictator IK talking about? The insults to Islamic Prophet Holy Muhammed and His Family (Salutations of Allah Upon Him and His Family) that are at rampant in Pakistan during IK regime , such a 'tongue unleashed' has never ever been experienced in Pakistan. India and Afghanistan are outside the Pakistan- inside Pakistan IK has given a freehand to terrorist organizations, Nazis and RSS are IK's escape goats. IK, himself, is doing nothing openly, talks nice! And at same time, lets the locally farmed terrorist groups such as "Sipah Sahaba" , " Lashkar Jhangvi ", " Dolat e Islami" carry on Shia persecution. I am from Pakistan, I know what IK is doing to Pakistan, setting it on an irreversible coarse to destruction.
